What PATRICIANS is

PATRICIANS is a private, non-commercial website made by friends, for friends — a convenience for Batch 2001 of St. Patrick's Junior College to stay in touch. It is run by volunteers in their spare time. It is not an official service of St. Patrick's Junior College, and nobody is paid to run it.

No promises

  • The site is provided "as is", with no guarantee of any kind — that it works, is available, is accurate, is secure, or keeps your data.
  • It may change, stop working, lose data, or be closed at any time, without notice and without giving a reason. There is no promise about how long it will run.
  • Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you (photos, messages, contact details). Do not rely on this site as your only copy.

You are responsible for what you share

  • You choose what to put on your profile and who can see it. Only share what you are comfortable sharing.
  • Post only things you have the right to share. No harassment, hate, illegal, sexual or misleading content, and no sharing other people's private information or photos without their permission.
  • The admins may hide, remove or refuse anything, and suspend or remove any account, at their discretion.
  • Messages and posts are written by members, not by the people running the site, who are not responsible for them.

Your data

  • We store what you give us: your name, email, phone number and the profile details, photos, messages and posts you add, plus basic technical data needed to run the site (such as sign-in records and the device you use).
  • It is used only to run this site for members. It is never sold and not used for advertising.
  • Admins can see account details and, to keep the site safe, may read messages when needed. Members see only what your privacy choices allow.
  • You can change or remove your details at any time, and ask the admins to delete your account and data. Backups may keep copies for a short time.
  • The site uses only the cookies it needs to work (for example, keeping you signed in). It is hosted with a web hosting company, and email and push notifications are sent through their usual providers.

Members under 18

If you are under 18, you may join only with the agreement of a parent or guardian, who should read these terms with you. By joining, you confirm that they have agreed. A parent or guardian can ask the admins at any time to see, correct or delete their child's data.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the people who run PATRICIANS are not liable for any loss or harm of any kind arising from using it, or from it being unavailable, changed or closed — including lost data, messages or photos, and anything another member posts or does. You use the site at your own risk.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated; continuing to use the site means you accept the current version. Questions or requests: the site admins.
